Motivation to lose weight
You decide you want to lose weight. But how do you start?. It starts at the top, with your mind. You need to set goals and intentions, so you can keep your motivation. This pertains to everything in life. From losing weight to starting a new job. Working your own business, etc.
But lets talk about weight loss. It is such a common complaint. I hear it from friends, family and clients. But why such the problem.? It can seem complicated, and confusing. There a several things involved. Just cutting down on calories, or not eating certain foods, can sometimes work for a while, but low and behold, you slowing but surely put the weight back on, and lose your motivation.
There are so many weight loss programs. Which one do you chose? You find a program that someone else has had success with, and then maybe you don’t. Why is that? People can be given the same information, and some succeed and some don’t. Now mind you, genetics can play a role, if you are male or female young or old, etc. But why do some people stick to something and others don’t, and quickly lose their motivation.
So what is the difference? Well it is the people that set goals and intentions, that keep their motivation. People that have a strong why, will succeed. If you don’t have a strong why, or intention you will be swayed, temptations will set in and you will fall back into the same old habits.
How do I change that you ask? It may be easier for some than for others. But I can guarantee you, with the proper information and a strong intention or why, it can be done.

So lets get to it. What things do you need. First and foremost, you need the right mind set. You need to believe you can lose the weight. Everyone can lose weight. You need to believe you can. You need to really want to. Having that powerful “why” is very important. You need to believe you deserve to feel wonderful.
Make your health a priority. only you can change your habits.
Start each day stretching and breathing. (videos will become available on this site). Or purchase yoga tapes. Breathing calms the nervous system and clears your mind.Say things to yourself …. such as, I deserve to be healthy, feel wonderful. I love myself and my body(even if it isn’t where you want it right now). Say these things to yourself in the mirror. (just make sure no one hears you.. lol).I give my body what it needs, and not what it doesn’t.
Hang out with people who elevate you. Disconnect from people who belittle you. Or don’t nourish you.
Be responsible for the good energy you bring into a room.
Think how you treat yourself and others.
Thing how your actions and how you treat your body may be affecting your children. How are they going to view themselves and their bodies.
Your health is the one thing that effects everything you do. How important is that. You should feel you deserve the best. Only use the best products, eat the best food. Be aware of the damage you can create by not eating or using the best.
Don’t let anyone invade space in your brain. You need to have enough self esteem, and confidence not to let others affect your decisions. Remember misery enjoys company. Peer pressure can happen at any age. Think for a moment, when you may have been out with people. You may be gathered around a table of “treats”. You may look at them, and the voice in your head says. No don’t eat that, you have been good. Next thing you hear is someone next to you, saying “Oh, go ahead you deserve it. Go ahead “treat” yourself. Do you cave and say to yourself. They’re right I deserve it. Or can you change your mind set, and think……no I deserve to treat myself with healthy food. I deserve the best, not food that will harm my body. Now don’t get me wrong I like cookies, cakes etc. But the difference is there are much healthier options, that will not have the same affect on your body.
