steel cut oats

This is a quick and convenient way to make a healthy breakfast. While you are sleeping.!

One oval crock pot. Pour approx 1/2 cup water into the crock pot. Put a smaller bowl into the crock pot. One that can with stand the heat. I use a metal one. Add 1 cup steel cut oats. Add 4 cups filtered water. Add 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Turn crock pot on low for 8-10 hours. Overnight.  Covered. In the morning you can add extra things, such as raisins, cranberries, walnuts, ground flax or chia seeds.etc. Whatever your taste buds desire. Enjoy!
